As a fact, Zailors Band was truly an established band among the Nepali Rock/Pop music lovers few years ago. The band was more popular in the Eastern Region of Nepal (Sunsari, Morang, Jhapa etc). There were already 2 albums in the market.

The 1st album "TADA JANE" was released in 1990 which gave a big bang number "Tada Jane". This song made the band popular among the music lovers.

The 2nd album "KASARI BIRSU"  was released from Music Nepal in 1998 from which the remix song "Kasari Birsu" (original by Anil Sundas) and "Chappani Le Chan" (original by Ganga Bardan) were a popular hits.

Since, the death of Founder member of the band (Late. Lakpa Sherpa), the band was silent for past 10 years. Now, after a decade, with new revolution zailors are back again once more to rock with their new album "RE-BIRTH” released from Taal Music in 2008.

There are 9 songs in this album among which "Yaadharu & Angala malai" is composed on the Late. Lakpa Sherpa's story and for the one who loves him. Also the popular song "Tada Jane" has been remixed to the acoustic version in this album.

The band said, “We’ve given our best effort, hope our works will be appreciated and judged in right way. We are looking forward to do more in future.”
